What this service provides

Option Yield Compass is an educational options-analysis tool and a manual trade journal for cash-secured puts and covered calls. It does not connect to your broker, place orders, or provide personalized investment, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for your investment decisions and for checking information with your broker.

Quotes and calculations

Market data is delayed, may be incomplete and can become unavailable. Displayed bid/ask estimates are not executable fills. Annualized figures are theoretical comparisons, not promised returns. Assignment, stock-price changes, liquidity, early exercise, transaction costs and taxes affect actual results. Standard 100-share equity-option contracts are supported; adjusted contracts are not.

Your records and shared results

Trade records are entered by users and are not independently verified. Record actual fills and fees accurately. Shared results cover the selected journal entries and period; they may exclude stock holdings and unlogged activity. Do not present a self-reported card as broker-verified performance, fabricate records to mislead others, or use the service to spam or impersonate someone.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep sign-in credentials secure. Do not access other users' records, circumvent access controls, overload the service, or misuse market data. We may restrict misuse and change or discontinue features. Use is subject to applicable law and third-party data-provider restrictions.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided as available, without a guarantee of accuracy, uninterrupted access or investment performance. Keep your own records and export your journal when needed. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Option Yield Compass is not responsible for trading losses caused by reliance on displayed information. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
