Account and journal data
We store your account identifier, email and supplied name to provide sign-in. My Trades stores the contracts, fills, fees, share basis, closing outcomes and notes you enter. These records are private to your account. The service uses Lovable hosting and Supabase authentication/storage; Google sign-in is available through our authentication provider.
Data on your device
Favorites, close thresholds, recent delayed quotes and sign-in state may be stored in your browser. Clearing browser storage removes browser-only preferences and quotes. Favorites do not require an account; when you are signed in they are saved to your account instead, so they follow you across devices and can power email alerts you opt into.
Sharing
Trade and performance cards are generated locally as images or text. Creating a card does not publish your journal. You choose the fields and where to share it. Saved images and copies sent to others cannot be revoked by deleting the original trade.
Usage and reliability
Optional usage analytics are off until you enable them in the footer. They record fixed action names, limited categories and a random browser-session identifier. They do not include trade amounts, symbols, notes, email addresses, account IDs or page-query values. Turn them off in the footer to stop future collection. Separately, we count daily active usage on our own servers to operate the product — for example, that the analyzer was opened, a ticker was searched, or a new trade was logged. Signed-in activity is linked to your account ID to count distinct daily users, and search events may include the ticker symbol. Anonymous app opens are counted without an account ID and are not a count of unique people. These operational events are separate from the optional analytics toggle; they do not include trade amounts, notes, or email addresses. Account-linked activity is deleted when your account is deleted. Essential hosting logs and provider-health counts help us diagnose outages; hosting/authentication providers may process technical information such as IP addresses.
Feedback and support
We store feedback you submit, its category and an optional reply email. Signed-in feedback is linked to your account so it can be removed with account deletion. Do not submit passwords, account numbers or private financial documents.
Access and removal
Use My Trades → Data & account to export your journal or permanently delete your account, journal and signed-in feedback. Individual trades can be deleted in Manage trade. For anonymous feedback removal or other privacy requests, use Send feedback and choose Privacy request. Provider backup copies may remain according to the provider's backup lifecycle.
Retention
Journal records remain until you delete them or your account. Operational cleanup targets 90 days for usage/provider events and 180 days for feedback. Hosting backup retention is controlled by the hosting provider. We use collected information to operate, improve and support Option Yield Compass.
